The lid doesn’t stay closed – what can I do?
Small irregularities in the ceramic or silicone can sometimes cause the lid to lift slightly after closing.
If your set includes multiple jars, try swapping the lids between them — this often helps to achieve a tighter fit.
If that doesn’t solve the issue, the problem is likely the silicone sealing ring:
To close properly, the sealing ring needs one or two tiny air holes.
If your ring doesn’t have them, you can carefully pierce 1–2 holes (approx. 1 mm diameter) with a fine needle or similar tool.
