Does the Misty Cliff tableware contain melamine?
No, it does not.
Melamine is a type of plastic that is sometimes used to manufacture entire dishware sets.
Our Misty Cliff tableware, however, is made entirely of stoneware — a high-quality ceramic material — and therefore contains no melamine.
Tip: Stoneware is durable and heat-resistant but should not be exposed to extreme temperature shocks (e.g., moving directly from fridge to oven).
What type of glaze is used on Misty Cliff items?
Each piece in the Misty Cliff collection is finished by hand with a reactive glaze.
This technique involves applying one color as a base and spraying a second layer of color on top.
The interaction between these layers creates unique, individual patterns — meaning every item is truly one of a kind.
Note: Slight variations in color and texture are part of the handcrafted charm and not a defect.
