Does the taste change depending on the type of milk or plant-based drink I use?
Yes, absolutely. Especially with vegan milk alternatives, the flavor can vary noticeably.
For particularly creamy and mild results, we recommend using cashew milk or vegan whipping cream.
Each plant-based drink contributes its own character — almond milk gives a nutty touch, oat milk a subtle cereal note.
For which ice cream machine size are the recipe quantities in the inlay designed?
The recipes are formulated for one liter of ice cream mixture.
If your ice cream maker has a larger or smaller capacity, you can simply adjust the ingredient quantities proportionally.
Can I use the ice cream base without an ice cream machine?
Yes, that’s possible — but for the best creamy results, we strongly recommend using an ice cream machine.
Inside the machine, your mixture is continuously stirred and cooled, allowing air to be whipped in evenly. This results in a smooth, creamy texture without ice crystals.
If you prepare the mixture without a machine, you’ll need to stir it manually every 30–45 minutes while freezing.
Although this works, the texture will be less uniform and more crystalline.
Is Nice Eis safe for people with nut allergies?
Unfortunately, no.
Our production partner also processes peanuts and walnuts, so we cannot guarantee that the product is completely free from traces.
If you have a nut allergy, we advise against consumption for safety reasons.
Which ingredients should I use for vegan milk-based ice cream?
You can use any plant-based drink of your choice.
For the most deliciously creamy texture, we recommend cashew milk combined with vegan whipping cream.
Of course, you’re welcome to experiment with different flavors — almond, soy, oat, or coconut milk each give your ice cream its own twist.
What does the base taste like on its own?
The ice cream base is perfectly balanced in taste thanks to its refined blend of cane sugar, citric acid, and sea salt.
Even without extra flavoring, it tastes pleasantly like classic milk ice cream.
When you use plant-based milk instead of dairy, the flavor naturally changes — for example:
- Cashew milk adds a mild, nutty note.
- Oat or spelt milk adds a light cereal flavor.
