How loud is Elli?
During ice cream production, Elli operates at around 65 dB, which is comparable to normal conversation volume.
You can easily talk, listen to music, or relax while Elli is running.
Can I use the mixing or cooling functions separately?
No — according to the control layout and instruction manual, Elli’s programs cannot be operated separately.
Mixing and cooling are automatically combined and controlled during each program cycle.
How long does it take to make ice cream with Elli?
Elli’s typical mixing and freezing time is about 45 minutes.
If your ice cream mixture is well pre-chilled before you start, the process may finish sooner.
After the program ends, Elli automatically switches to a keep-cool function, so your ice or sorbet stays cold without melting immediately.
How much mixture should I fill into Elli’s container?
Always fill the ice container to a maximum of two-thirds (≈400 ml).
Leave the top third empty, as the mixture expands while freezing.
The container should also be filled at least one-third full for proper operation.
Tip: Overfilling may cause the mixture to overflow during churning.
How many servings does one batch make?
One full batch in Elli produces approximately four portions of ice cream or sorbet.
Can I make vegan or lactose-free ice cream with Elli?
Absolutely! Replace milk or cream with coconut milk or unsweetened plant-based drinks such as soy milk or oat milk.
If your recipe calls for gelatin, you can substitute it with agar-agar or other vegan alternatives.
There are many creative vegan and lactose-free recipes you can enjoy with Elli.
Can I add fruits, nuts, or other ingredients to my ice cream?
Yes! You can easily add extra ingredients such as fruits, nuts, cookies, or chocolate.
Use the refill opening in the lid to add them about 5 minutes before the end of the freezing time for best texture.
The stirring paddle broke – what happened?
Please check whether the lid was opened during operation.
If the machine runs without the lid properly attached, the paddle loses stability and may break at the drive connection.
In this case, the entire unit must be replaced.
This is not a product defect but caused by incorrect handling.

How do I clean Elli’s removable parts?

After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly.
