Available models

Current models: 944046 – 944047 – 944048 – 944049
Older models: 942864 / 942900

Please note:
Only the standard blending jug, shock absorber, and tamper are compatible between the old and new models.
All other accessories (such as the new stainless-steel jug and to-go bottle) are not interchangeable.

What’s new compared to the old Hanno model?

The new Hanno offers the same power and quality as the previous generation.
However, to accommodate our newly developed accessories — the to-go bottle and stainless-steel jug — we had to redesign the attachment mechanism.
As a result, the new accessories are not compatible with older Hanno models (Art. No. 942864 & 942900).

What material are the screws in the stainless-steel jug made of?

The screws in the blade assembly of Hanno’s stainless-steel jug are made from SUS 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and food safety.

Can I blend boiling liquids in my Hanno?

Hanno is heat-resistant up to 80°C.
However, we recommend avoiding prolonged blending of very hot ingredients. The motor generates its own heat, and combined with heat from the jug, this can trigger the motor protection function.

Tips:

  • Allow steam to escape occasionally when blending warm ingredients.
  • Pressure can build up inside the jug due to expanding steam — releasing air prevents suction and ensures safety.

The blend is not smooth enough

If your blend isn’t fine enough:

  • Reduce the quantity of ingredients.
  • Cut ingredients into smaller pieces (max. 2 cm).
  • Blend in batches if necessary.

Overfilling the jug or using oversized pieces can overload the motor and reduce blending efficiency.

My jug has become discolored (e.g., from carrots, spinach, turmeric, curry)

This is completely normal.
Natural pigments such as carotenes, betanin, or curcumin can stain plastic jugs.

To minimize discoloration:

  1. Rub the jug with a small amount of cooking oil.
  2. Wipe clean with paper towel.
  3. Wash with lukewarm water and a drop of dish soap.

Important:
Avoid cleaning in the dishwasher — high heat can cause pigments to bond permanently.
Discoloration is purely cosmetic and fades with regular cleaning over time.

The lid is very tight or difficult to remove

That’s intentional — Hanno is an exceptionally powerful blender (2.7 HP / 2000 W), and the tight seal prevents the lid from opening during operation.

If it’s difficult to remove:

  • Always remove the jug from the motor base first (this deactivates the safety lock).
  • Apply light pressure and twist — the rubber gasket will soften slightly over time, making removal easier.

The control lights are on, but the blender won’t start

Please check:

  1. The jug is properly seated on the motor base.
  2. The plug is inserted into the socket.
  3. Turn the dial back to position “0”.
  4. Select the desired speed or function — Hanno should now start normally.

The jug looks cloudy or scratched

No worries — your jug is fine!
High-performance blending naturally causes wear over time, especially with frequent use.
 This does not affect function.

If you prefer a clear, fresh look, replacement jugs are available in our online shop.

What are Hanno’s minimum and maximum speeds?

Hanno operates at approximately 5,000 RPM on the lowest speed and reaches up to 18,000 RPM on maximum power.

Why can’t I remove the lid while the jug is on the motor base?

For your safety, Hanno’s safety lock keeps the lid secured during operation.
You can, however, add ingredients through the removable center cap while blending — perfect for small add-ins such as berries, nuts, or spices.

To add larger ingredients, always remove the jug from the motor block first, then open the lid.

Why does Hanno stop after a long blending session?

A built-in overload protection system automatically shuts off the motor to prevent damage.
Unplug the device and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before resuming use.

What can I make with Hanno that standard blenders can’t?

With 32,000 RPM and 2000 watts, Hanno handles even the toughest ingredients effortlessly.

You can easily prepare:

  1. Green smoothies with fibrous vegetables like spinach or celery.
  2. Crushed ice and frozen cocktails (e.g., margaritas, daiquiris).
  3. Nut butters – smooth almond, cashew, or hazelnut butter.
  4. Homemade flour – grind grains like rye, spelt, or wheat.
  5. Nana ice cream – creamy desserts from frozen fruits.

Recommended fill level

Always fill your jug at least one-third full for best results.
If underfilled, ingredients may stick to the sides while the blades spin freely, causing the motor to overheat.

Which jug is best for which ingredients?

  • Stainless-steel jug: ideal for thicker or dry mixtures such as nut butter, pesto, hummus, onions, or spices.
  • Large plastic jug: best for liquid preparations like smoothies and soups.
  • To-go bottle: perfect for small smoothie portions or single servings.

The stainless-steel jug’s low blade placement ensures even blending of dense ingredients.

How do I clean my Hanno?

Hanno has a self-cleaning function for easy care:

  1. Fill the jug halfway with water and add a few drops of dish soap.
  2. Press the cleaning button (far left).
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clear water and let dry.

For best results, remove large food residues with a spatula before starting the cleaning cycle.

How do I clean Hanno’s accessories?

Clean the to-go bottle and stainless-steel jug the same way:

  • Add water + 1–2 drops of dish soap, run the cleaning function briefly, then rinse.
  • Remove the silicone seals from the lids to clean by hand.
  • For tight areas, use a cleaning brush or toothbrush.

How do I make almond or nut butter?

Not all nuts contain enough natural oil to blend smoothly right away.
Add small amounts of liquid (water or oil) gradually until the mixture becomes creamy.

Tip: Making nut butter requires patience — the nuts must first be fully ground before their oils release and the texture becomes smooth.

What is the shock absorber for?

The shock absorber (made from silicone) sits between the motor block and jug.
It absorbs vibration during high-speed blending, especially when crushing ice or hard ingredients, protecting the motor housing from excess stress.

Ingredients stick to the sides or don’t reach the blades

This may happen if ingredients are too large or the mixture is too dry.
Cut all ingredients into pieces no larger than 2 cm and, if needed, add more liquid.
You can also use the tamper while blending on low speed to push ingredients toward the blades.
