Pino Spice Mills

What materials are used in Pino spice mills?

Our elegant Pino spice mills are crafted with care and designed for both style and durability.
Inside the mills, we use high-quality plastics:
ABS, PP, PA, and POM.

The wood is sourced from the United States, specifically from the state of New York.
The grinding mechanisms are permanently bonded and cannot be replaced.
We use wood glue free from animal-based ingredients, ensuring an ethical and sustainable manufacturing process.

Does Pino contain any animal-derived substances?

No. The materials and adhesives used in Pino are completely free of animal components.

How should I clean my Pino spice mill?

Regular cleaning is usually not necessary.
Because the grinding mechanisms are sealed and non-removable, we recommend a simple dry-cleaning method:

  • Add a small amount of uncooked rice to the mill.
  • Grind as usual – the rice will absorb moisture, remove any remaining spice oils, and clean the mechanism from the inside.

Avoid rinsing or washing the mill with water to prevent damage.

How much spice fits into the Pino or Pepita mill?

Each Pino (and Pepita) spice mill holds approximately 25 grams of spice.
