Beverage Dispenser Gloria

How to set up Gloria

Included parts:

  • 1 × spigot
  • 2 × metal rings
  • 1 × gasket
  • 1 × nut

Assembly instructions:

  1. Insert the spigot through the opening in the glass body from the outside.
  2. Place one metal ring and the gasket on the inside of the glass wall.
  3. Secure everything with the nut from the inside.
  4. Tighten gently by hand — do not overtighten, as this could stress the glass.

What material is the spigot made of?

The spigot is made of 18/10 stainless steel (type 304 according to European standard).
This premium-grade stainless steel is odor- and taste-neutral, corrosion-resistant, and perfectly safe for food contact.

Can I fill the glass container with cleaning agents or oils?

We do not recommend filling the glass dispenser with oils or cleaning agents.
The spigot is designed exclusively for dispensing beverages.
Thick liquids such as olive oil or detergent can reduce flow performance and make cleaning more difficult.

Is the glass free from harmful substances?

Yes. The glass is completely free from harmful substances and LFGB certified.

The LFGB certification ensures that all components — including the silicone ring and stainless-steel spigot — have been tested for food safety and are free from harmful chemicals.

Can I use carbonated beverages?

Yes, you can fill carbonated drinks (e.g., lemonade, sparkling water) into the dispenser.
However, carbonation can create negative pressure inside the glass, which may reduce the flow.

Tip: If this happens, slightly open or lift the lid to equalize the pressure. You can also remove the lid’s sealing ring to allow air circulation while keeping the dispenser closed.

Can all parts be cleaned in the dishwasher?

  • Glass container – dishwasher-safe
  • Stainless-steel spigot – dishwasher-safe
  • Wooden standhand-wash only with a soft, slightly damp cloth

Avoid soaking or rinsing the wooden stand with large amounts of water, as this may leave marks or damage the finish.

Can I pour hot water into the dispenser?

The Gloria dispenser is made from high-quality, durable glass suitable for serving cold or room-temperature beverages such as lemonade, iced tea, or punch.

We do not recommend pouring boiling water directly into the glass.
You may, however, pour in pre-brewed tea or other warm drinks once they have cooled slightly.

Why doesn’t anything come out when the lid is closed?

If no liquid flows when the lid is closed, pressure buildup may be preventing the beverage from dispensing — especially with carbonated or acidic drinks.

Solution:

  • Open the lid slightly, or
  • Remove the rubber gasket from the lid to allow airflow while keeping it covered.

How thick is the glass?

The glass has a wall thickness of approximately 0.5 cm, ensuring durability and stability.

What is the diameter of the lid opening?

The inner diameter of the opening is approximately 8.5 cm, providing easy access for filling and cleaning.

Are small air bubbles in the glass normal?

Yes.
Small air bubbles may form naturally during the glassblowing process.
They are a normal characteristic of handcrafted glass and have no effect on the quality, performance, or longevity of the product.
