Food Processor Kaia

How do I assemble Kaia correctly?

Follow these three steps to assemble your Kaia safely and correctly:

  1. Place the mixing bowl on the motor base and make sure it locks securely into position.
  2. Rotate the bowl clockwise until the arrow indicator lines up with the lock symbol.
  3. Insert the blade unit or desired attachmentloosely at the end — do not press or force it in.

Important:
The blade should always be placed loosely last onto the spindle. If inserted too early or pressed down, it may jam and damage the base connection.

The blades of my Kaia have become dull – what should I do?

If Kaia’s blades are no longer as sharp as when new, do not attempt to sharpen them yourself.
Please contact our customer service — replacement parts are readily available and can be shipped quickly.

What are Kaia’s advantages compared to a high-performance blender?

While Kaia may have a lower wattage than a high-speed blender, it offers several unique advantages:

  • As a universal food processor, Kaia can still handle all common blending tasks such as smoothies, pesto, pureed soups, or sauces.
  • Thanks to its special emulsifying disc, recipes like mayonnaise turn out perfectly creamy and balanced.
  • Its large bowl makes it easy to mix nut butters or thicker doughs with excellent control and consistency.

In short: Kaia is more versatile and precise for everyday kitchen use.

Kaia was assembled incorrectly – what now?

If the blade was inserted incorrectly and jammed inside the base unit, it unfortunately needs to be replaced.
The blade must always be placed last and loosely on the drive spindle (see instruction diagram).

If the parts have jammed or warped, they must be replaced.
Don’t worry — all components are available in our online shop.

The mini chopper is leaking – what can I do?

The mini chopper attachment is not designed for liquids, but rather for ingredients with a low moisture content such as apples, onions, nuts, or herbs.
You can also prepare dips and spreads like hummus or pesto.

Before use:

  • Ensure that the sealing ring is correctly fitted.
  • If leakage occurs, check the lid for small cracks — we’ll send you a replacement if needed.

Can I puree hot soups with Kaia?

We do not recommend using hot ingredients in Kaia.
Allow soups or sauces to cool down before blending to avoid pressure buildup or potential damage to the unit.

Which parts of Kaia are dishwasher-safe?

All removable parts are dishwasher-safe, except for the motor base, which must never be submerged.
Simply wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

Tip: To extend blade life, hand-wash the stainless-steel blades using gloves and a soft brush to avoid injury and dulling.

How do I achieve the best cutting results with the stainless-steel discs?

Less is more!
For perfectly shaped slices (e.g., sweet potato fries), use speed level 1.
At higher speeds, slices may become too thin or uneven.

Always start at low speed and adjust only if necessary.

What is the maximum filling capacity?

The maximum amount depends on the attachment used.
Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed instructions on ingredient quantities for each attachment.

As a general rule:

  • Less is more – smaller batches produce better and more consistent results.
  • The mini chopper should never be filled to the top — leave enough space for even processing.
